SUMMARY:Rise for Palestine: Empowering Youth for Change
DESCRIPTION:The ongoing genocide in Gaza has devastated families\, and has had a disproportionate impact on young children. From October 7- Oct 26\, the Palestinian Health Ministry reports that 5-9 year olds were murdered more than any other age group with 60% of those murdered being under the age of 30. \n\n\n\nOur children are not oblivious to what happens in the world. We know that their voices are important and that we can speak up together no matter the age to do whatever we can to stop this US funded genocide in Palestine. \n\n\n\nBring the kids and teens in your lives to say no to genocide and to be in community with each other at this opportunity for children and teens to learn about social justice in a fun environment. Families and kids/teens of all ages are welcome. Snacks and materials will be provided. \n\n\n\nActivities will include: poster making\, protest chants\, story time\, letter writing\, statement writing\, Dabke.
